Tras varias generaciones dedicadas a la agricultura y el sector olivarero, la familia Velasco Gil fundó en 2009 una almazara en Dílar, un pueblo granadino de Sierra Nevada.
Once again, our single variety Quaryat Picual EVOO has been awarded a gold medal at the Los Ángeles International Olive Oil Competition.
This is our second entry and both have brought the precious metal. This result confirms our family project travels along the right path and our uncompromising bid for high quality production is the apposite call.
We pride ourselves in producing under strict environmental guidelines in the Sierra Nevada Natural Park in Granada allowing us to display the Andalusian Natural Park logo on our label. We have always considered promoting conservation and biodiversity in our natural surroundings part and parcel of what Quaryat is about.
For all of us, this is a reason to celebrate.
